The author has written a powerful story about two men from different backgrounds falling in love and how the expectations of others and the society they live in tried to keep them apart. I couldn't help but cheer when they got their HEA ending in spite of the obstacles thrown in their way. Kilig is a sweet romance. It’s adorable and interesting. The title is fitting. These guys fall in love and share that exuberance with each other and their family. It’s definitely not the western culture many will be familiar with, so you really have to let go and immerse yourself in this different culture. You will be introduced to wonderful new characters and a new way to look at things. It’s worth the read.
